The location of the lodge is convenient for visiting Crater Lake National Park and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The room provided ample amenities such as towels, toiletries, a fridge, and a TV. The lodge also offers adjustable heaters and plenty of blankets to combat the cold weather. The coffee provided in the morning was a nice touch.

The lobby and carpets could use some updating and cleaning.

The Dawson House Lodge was a charming, rustic retreat with a turn-of-the-century appeal. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, providing keys to settle in and fixing any issues promptly. The bed was wonderfully comfortable with clean bedding, and the towels were new and fresh. We appreciated the complimentary coffee and oatmeal packets in the lobby, as well as the variety of creamers available. The lodge's location near Crater Lake National Park made it a convenient stop on our road trip.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The owner was incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. The bed was super comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. We also loved that the suite had a balcony, it was a nice bonus. Plus, the location was perfect, with a 24-hour gas station and Subway restaurant right across the street. It was also very convenient for visiting Crater Lake and Toketee Falls. And to top it off, they provided complimentary coffee, flavored teas, and hot cider, which was a really nice touch.

One downside was that the water took a little while to heat up, but it wasn't a major issue. We also found the parking lot to be a bit inconvenient, as it was gravel and not as smooth as we would have liked.

I recently stayed at a lodge in a small town near Crater Lake, and I had a cozy and spacious room that was perfect for my weekend getaway. The staff, particularly the owner who lives on-site, was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The room itself was clean, tastefully decorated, and had convenient access to an outside deck. Despite being located on a main road, the room was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful stay. I also enjoyed the amenities such as the microwave, fridge, and coffee machine in the room. The comfortable bed and clean towels added to the overall pleasant experience.

While the lodge itself provided a great experience, there were a few drawbacks. there was no one manning the lobby when I arrived, and I had to wait quite a while before someone appeared.

We stayed at Dawson House Lodge for our 4 year anniversary, and it was the perfect place to rest before a day of hiking at Crater Lake National Park. The staff went above and beyond by mailing me a special letter I forgot, showing how thoughtful they are. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and the staff was extremely helpful. The historic charm and unexpected jacuzzi tub added to the overall experience. We would definitely stay here again.

    Would recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this lodge! The woman at the counter was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was right on the road, making it easy to find. I loved that they offered complimentary coffee and other hot drinks. It was also convenient to have a gas station nearby for refueling the next morning. Finding restaurant options was a breeze. The room had a ceiling fan and A/C, which kept it comfortable. Additionally, having a microwave and refrigerator in the room was a great bonus. The lodge had a charming and rustic feel, reminiscent of an Alaska Roadhouse from the territorial days.

    Nothing negative to say.

The key location of this hotel was definitely a plus for our Easter weekend. It was conveniently close to Crater Lake National Park and had a few restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Additionally, the staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay more enjoyable.

There were a couple of negative aspects during our stay. the noise from the main road was quite disruptive, especially during the night, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Despite being near the highway, the noise level quieted down at night, allowing for a peaceful sleep. The location was easy to find and the check-in process was convenient, even though it had to be done over the phone. I had a comfortable stay and would recommend this hotel.

Traveling the state for 8 days, we wanted to budget on accommodation and save for activities. Dawson House Lodge was perfect. The man at the back of the building was kind, helpful, and quickly fixed the slow draining sink. The clean and comfortable bed, along with the new towels, made for a pleasant stay. We appreciated the updated bathroom fixtures and the rustic hunting lodge appeal. The helpful staff, coffee machine, and complimentary oatmeal packets added to the positive experience. This place has history and charm.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

During my Christmas stay, I found two standout features of this hotel that made my experience enjoyable. the check-in process was quick and hassle-free, with a key left on the counter and clear instructions on how to find my room. This made settling in a breeze. Secondly, I appreciated the availability of coffee and tea in the lobby. It was a nice touch to be able to grab a hot beverage whenever I wanted.

There were a few aspects of my stay that left much to be desired. the cleanliness of the room was subpar.

The location of the lodge is convenient, situated near the main highway and close to Crater Lake. The rooms are cozy and spacious, stocked with plenty of towels and other amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing easy check-in and offering complimentary coffee and tea. The lodge offers a variety of room options, including ones with a full kitchen and multiple beds, perfect for a comfortable stay with friends. The beds are comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.

The lobby could use some cosmetic improvements, as the carpets appear worn and the overall decor is outdated.

Nestled amidst the serene beauty of the Oregon wilderness, this rustic lodge provides a warm and comfortable retreat. The friendly staff creates a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring a hassle-free check-in experience. The bed is exceptionally cozy, adorned with fresh and crisp bedding. The renovated bathroom boasts modern fixtures, and the towels are impeccably clean. With a range of complimentary oatmeal packets and a coffee machine in the lobby, fueling up for the adventure-filled day becomes a breeze.

One word of caution, the reservations process may exhibit a slight disorganization, which could warrant a focused approach for smoother arrangements.
