The location of the lodge is convenient for visiting Crater Lake National Park and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The room provided ample amenities such as towels, toiletries, a fridge, and a TV. The lodge also offers adjustable heaters and plenty of blankets to combat the cold weather. The coffee provided in the morning was a nice touch.

The Dawson House Lodge was a charming, rustic retreat with a turn-of-the-century appeal. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, providing keys to settle in and fixing any issues promptly. The bed was wonderfully comfortable with clean bedding, and the towels were new and fresh. We appreciated the complimentary coffee and oatmeal packets in the lobby, as well as the variety of creamers available. The lodge's location near Crater Lake National Park made it a convenient stop on our road trip.
There was nothing I didn't like.

The owner was incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. The bed was super comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. We also loved that the suite had a balcony, it was a nice bonus. Plus, the location was perfect, with a 24-hour gas station and Subway restaurant right across the street. It was also very convenient for visiting Crater Lake and Toketee Falls. And to top it off, they provided complimentary coffee, flavored teas, and hot cider, which was a really nice touch.
One downside was that the water took a little while to heat up, but it wasn't a major issue. We also found the parking lot to be a bit inconvenient, as it was gravel and not as smooth as we would have liked.

I recently stayed at a lodge in a small town near Crater Lake, and I had a cozy and spacious room that was perfect for my weekend getaway. The staff, particularly the owner who lives on-site, was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The room itself was clean, tastefully decorated, and had convenient access to an outside deck. Despite being located on a main road, the room was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful stay. I also enjoyed the amenities such as the microwave, fridge, and coffee machine in the room. The comfortable bed and clean towels added to the overall pleasant experience.
While the lodge itself provided a great experience, there were a few drawbacks. there was no one manning the lobby when I arrived, and I had to wait quite a while before someone appeared.

We stayed at Dawson House Lodge for our 4 year anniversary, and it was the perfect place to rest before a day of hiking at Crater Lake National Park. The staff went above and beyond by mailing me a special letter I forgot, showing how thoughtful they are. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and the staff was extremely helpful. The historic charm and unexpected jacuzzi tub added to the overall experience. We would definitely stay here again.
Would recommend this hotel.
